Travel and Venue

Arriving in Göttingen: Göttingen can be reached directly with the ICE (Inter City Express) or IC trains from the directions Berlin, Hamburg, Hannover, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, or Munich.  Details of train connections can be found on the website of Deutsche Bahn (www.bahn.de).  Note that Sparpreis tickets are bound to the specific train connection.

Venue:  The BCool 2023 meeting will take place at the Max-Planck Insitute for Solar System Research, Justus-von-Liebig-Weg 3, 37077 Göttingen.  The MPS is located on the north campus of Göttingen University.  (www.mps.mpg.de)

 Local transport:  There is a regular bus service between the city centre and the busstop "Kellnerweg" during (and just after) normal office hours.    The connections are more sporadic in the evening time.   Connections can be found here: www.goevb.de.  Single tickets cost 2.40 euro and can be bought from the bus driver (cash only).  Taxi prices are about 15-20 euro from the city centre / train station.
